Renstar Medical Research, an established clinical research site in Ocala, FL, is seeking a full-time Clinical Study CT Research Assistant.
Clinical Study Research Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Performs research administrative and clinical functions including scheduling patient visits, collecting information, and assisting the research teams as needed.
- Collects information, compiles data from multiple sources, and enters data on source document forms
- Schedules and confirms patient appointments, coordinating with team members’ schedules. Enters visit data into a database and manages the information
- Takes vital signs, and performs ECG and phlebotomy during clinic visits
- Provides support for research study visits, such as preparing lab kits and required forms
- Orders, stocks, monitors, and maintains adequate supply inventory levels as directed
- Tactfully handles difficult situations with staff and patients while remaining positive and professional. When needed, escalate issues to the appropriate staff member
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working in a healthcare setting as a Certified Respiratory Therapist with experience in performing pulmonary function testing including DLCO
- Phlebotomy experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including being proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and other English language skills
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRC or CCRP certification
- 2 years of clinical research experience
- Medical terminology experience
